Renewal Manager at cymulate, covering Israel and Europe at the time of the interview and moving toward APAC coverage. Operator source for the account-management-vertical and renewals-management-wedge, especially the renewals-manager workflow between CS, sales/AM, support, technical AMs, partners, and customer decision makers.

  • Background in sales operations / post-sale operations; started at Matrix’s integration division and later worked at App Security before Cymulate.
  • Works daily with customers, mainly decision makers such as CISOs, CIOs, and procurement rather than hands-on SOC analysts.
  • Described renewal management as a role Cymulate initially had to invent because renewals were falling between CS and account managers; once the role proved necessary, Cymulate added renewal managers in the US and LATAM as well.
  • Core operating principle: timing saves customers. The person who notices renewal risk early and raises the flag can prevent churn that would otherwise be discovered too late.
